We're delighted to announce Elevator's participation in the Parkdale Nightcrawl, part of Toronto's 2013 Queen West Art Crawl, on September 21st. We invite you to come and take part in an interactive art project at 1273 Queen St West between 8pm and midnight - we don't want to tell you too much since that would ruin the surprise, but we're busy polishing the elevator mirrors and dusting off the bellhop's uniform. It's going to be wicked.
Just announced for the same night are two trunk shows by some of our all-time favourite Canadian designers, RUNE Jewellery and String Theory textiles. Prepare yourself for how amazing these two look together, and come and bag yourself one of their latest Fall designs while they're on show.
But wait! There's more. On top of beats and a bar at the back of the store so we can make a night of it, there will also be an exhibition by Toronto artist and illustrator Julia Dickens, whose work includes drawings of psychedelic enchantment, human figures in states of psychological fragmentation, and text work that invokes the sentimental and nostalgic. One not to miss.
RSVP via Facebook or to firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll see you there - seriously can't wait.
